The destination for leaders who seek to change the world

African American Leadership Foundation (AALF) is a 501 (c) (3) organization founded in March 2020. At various intervals, workshops, meetings and social gatherings, conversations among emerging leaders focused other same topics-mentorship, specifically designed leadership addressing unique challenges for black leaders and exposure to opportunities. Taking it a step further, a peer group of existing and emerging leaders discussed the concept of developing a leadership recognition/enrichment -groan. The thought was, in order for a committed group of their peers to emerge as potential future replacements to existing seasoned leadership, our community needed to develop a means of tapping them into service. WE needed to recognize their efforts to date – utilizing their recognition, as a means to encourage the involvement of others on the sidelines; to invest in their future leadership development by offering them exposure to mentors in this area. In addiction, provide leadership enrichment opportunities with regional, state and national figures
To build leadership, increase awareness, and create collaborative opportunities that enhance the well-being of people color and the communities that they serve.
Promoting leadership that fosters long term results for African Americans & other minorities.
